About
Welcome to Del Arte - 42 Rue de Noyon, a charming Italian restaurant located in the heart of Amiens, France. Nestled at 42 Rue de Noyon, this establishment offers a cozy atmosphere and a variety of dishes that promise a taste of Italy. Whether you're craving traditional pizza, delightful pasta, or a refreshing gelato, Del Arte has something for everyone.
As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a warm and friendly staff. Many guests have praised the attentive service, highlighting the manager Gino's customer-focused approach. However, opinions on the food experience are diverse. Some diners have enjoyed the affordable set menus that include a starter, a main dish, and a drink. These menus are competitively priced at €18.50 and €20.50, offering value for those looking to indulge without breaking the bank.
On the other hand, there are mixed reviews about the quality of the food. Some patrons have found the dishes lacking in flavor, pointing to issues such as tasteless pasta and reheated frozen items. Yet, there are also mentions of fresh bread and satisfying pasta that made a mark on their experience. The gelato offerings are noteworthy as well. With flavors like dame blanche crème glacée vanille and profiteroles gourmandes, there is a sweet note to conclude your meal.
The drink menu also impresses, featuring a selection of beers, including the unique Desperados, flavored with tequila, and a range of Italian wines from regions such as Sicily and the Piedmont. Whether you opt for a refreshing beer or a glass of robust red, there’s something to complement your meal perfectly.
However, it’s worth mentioning that the space can be quite noisy, a common challenge for busy chain restaurants. Still, the lively atmosphere adds to the charm of dining out in Amiens.
In conclusion, Del Arte - 42 Rue de Noyon offers an adventurous culinary experience that blends both highs and lows. If you’re in the area and craving Italian fare, it’s worth a visit to see what delightful dishes await. Just be prepared for variability in your dining experience.
“ Formule 18.50€ all day which includes one starter, limited choice, pizza or pasta and drink either wine or soft drink. Again limited choice. Had beef capaccio- tasteless. The oil used was not EVOO, extra virgin olive oil, it was sunflower oil and 30% olive oil. EWWW. Complimentary baguette. Anyway the pizza looked cooked but sadly was not. Crust all wrong. Beef carpaccio gave us diarrhoea, 12 hrs later- messy!!!! Service by a young bi lingual crew was good. Clean toilet. ”
“ Excellent service from Gino the Manager, very friendly and customer focused. Excellent food and drinks. ”
“ We were warmly welcomed and served friendly even if we entered at closing time. Our son was provided a small box with pencils and cars, food came out quickly. Wasn't great but location is top. The space is very noisy due to the acoustic of the construction. ”
